What is microblading?
Microblading is an innovative new technique that is a semi-permanent solution to sparse over plucked, over waxed and thinning eyebrows. A microblading treatment is ideal to cover up scars and gaps, define shape, create an arch and fill in the eyebrows. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows.
Will my eyebrows look real?
Yes! The microblading results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. Microblading is done using a very fine disposable blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. More superficial than tattooing and impacting color closer to the top skin surface, strokes appear and remain crisp and extremely fine.
How long will it last?
The results can last anywhere from 11 to 18 months, depending on different factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.
Will it hurt?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different however the microblading specialist will numb the brow with cream beforehand.
So yes it may be a but uncomfortable but completely worth it! And come on it’s not like plucking, waxing or treading feels great either.
How much does it cost?
Let’s put it this way good eyebrows aren’t cheap and cheap eyebrows aren’t good. Microblading isn’t cheap but well worth the money! It can cost anywhere between $300 to $2,500. And most specialist will warn you not to go cheap when it comes to your face! Do your research and make sure you see pictures of the technicians clients. It’s important to look at the healed results and both eyes! You won’t be able to tell if the technician is good at creating even eyebrows if you only see pictures of one eyebrow.
How often will I need to have it done?
The answer to this varies based on your skin and lifestyle. For example if you constantly exfoliate that will fade the ink faster. Generally touch ups should occur every 6 months to a year.
Now you maybe asking yourself is it worth it? We won’t lie to you it can be slightly comfortable to have it done and it won’t be cheap and you won’t be able to get them wet for a week, but it is definitely worth it! Microblading is changing people’s lives by giving them self confidence. You could have no eyebrows, gaps in your brows or you maybe looking for an arch and microblading can fix all of that. Imagine having perfect full eyebrows the minute you wake up. You don’t have to worry about correcting them or filling them in with makeup and you will still have fabulous eyebrows after washing your face. Feel beautiful and having confidence is priceless! The process only takes about an hour and a half and the results are beautiful. Once you see your results with microblading you will never go back to any other way of eyebrow shaping!
